Spotler Mail+ does not automatically send a copy of a mailing to the sender. To receive the mailing yourself, include yourself in the target group. You do this by creating a test group and selecting it as an extra list when you schedule the mailing. If the mailing has already been sent, you can send it to yourself afterwards with the Resend function.
How do you receive the mailing at the same time as your target group?
To receive the mailing yourself, you need a test group: a dynamic list that includes you. Spotler Mail+ does not create this list automatically, not even when you have set Test group to Yes on your own contact. You create the test group yourself once and then use it for every mailing.
- On your own contact card, set Test group to Yes.
- In the Lists module, create a dynamic list with a selection on Test group is Yes. Read how to do this in How do I create a test group?
- Schedule your mailing in the Mailings module.
- In Stap 2 - Target group, select your target group and also select your test group.
Contacts who are in more than one list receive the mailing only once. Recipients from your test group are included in the mailing report.
How do you send a mailing that was already sent to yourself?
- Go to the Mailings module and open the Overview.
- Click the dropdown menu next to the mailing and select Resend.
- Choose Contact from database and select your own contact.
Resending only works for contacts who have not received the mailing yet. The mailing report is updated to include the resent mailing.
