In Spotler Mail+, you create a target group of contacts who clicked a link from the report of your mailing. In the Clicks tab, you export the contacts who clicked a specific link. You then import that export as a static list. This also works for a video in your mailing: a video in an email is an image with a link to YouTube or Vimeo, so a click on the video counts as a click on a link.
How do you create a target group of contacts who already clicked?
- Go to the Mailings module and open the Overview.
- Click the dropdown menu next to the mailing and select Report.
- Open the Clicks tab and go to Link and URL.
-
Click the dropdown menu next to the link you want to select on and choose Export. You download a file with the contacts who clicked this link.
- Import the file as a static list in the Lists module.
You can then select the static list as the target group for a new mailing.
Give your links a recognisable name
In the report, your links are shown under the link name you entered when you created the link. A clear name, such as "Product demo video", helps you find the right link quickly.
How do you add contacts to a target group automatically after a click?
Want to select contacts automatically based on a click? When you create the link, set the Edit profile tab to Yes. You can then change a database field or add a tag when a contact clicks the link. Based on that database field or tag, you create a dynamic list. Contacts who click later are added to that list automatically.
