Release 2 | February 2025

We’re excited to announce the new improvements and bug fixes for February 2025! This update includes key enhancements to dynamic sections and the role-switcher feature, along with several bug fixes for a smoother experience.

Read about the feature improvement below. At the end of the article you will find the full release notes.

Space in Merge Fields

We’ve brought back the Ideas Forum with a quarterly release! The number one idea for Q1 2025, with 140 votes, was to improve merge fields. Now, you can choose to add a blank space after a merge field only when the field has a value. This ensures that if the field is empty, no unwanted blank space will appear in your messages. For example, "Your Audi [brand: personalization field] A1 [model: personalization field] needs to be serviced soon" will show as "Your Audi A1 needs to be serviced soon" if the model is missing.

Improvements

  • Encoding Issues in Trackable Links

We've fixed encoding issues that were affecting merge fields in trackable links. Now, you can use merge fields in trackable links without running into issues related to incorrect encoding.

Bug Fixes

  • Permission Field Changes in Forms

We've addressed a timing issue where permission changes in forms weren’t being applied in automations. Now, updates made during the final step of the form wizard are correctly included in your automations.

  • Automation Fields in Product Templates

We’ve fixed an issue where automation fields couldn’t be used in dynamic product lists in messages created in the old editor. You can now include automation fields in product templates without issues.

  • HTML Block Error

There was a bug where custom HTML blocks with the “Make All Links Trackable” option caused an error when saving the template. This has been resolved, and you can now add these blocks without any problems.

  • Two-Factor Authentication Reset

We’ve resolved an issue where owners couldn’t reset their own Two-Factor Authentication (TFA) in the user overview. Owners can now reset TFA in their 'My Profile' section instead.

  • Dynamic row inside a dynamic section

An HTML rendering error occurred when a condition was applied to both a section and a row within that section.
