Sending an SMS message
When you want to send an SMS message, you must first give it the status Final, just like with an email message. In the message overview, click the menu of the SMS message with your mouse and click Change status.
Then schedule the message in the same way as an email in the Mailings module.
| Mobile number filled in? It is possible to send an SMS message to any dynamic or static list within Spotler Mail+. One thing to keep in mind is that messages can only be sent to contacts with a filled-in database field Mobile. The database field Phone number is ignored, because validation of a mobile number only takes place on the database field Mobile. |
- Go to the Mailings module.
- Click the New mailing button.
- Enter a name for the mailing and select SMS as the Type. Then select the SMS message you want to send. Click Next.
- In step 2, select which list you want to send the SMS message to.
- In step 3, you can optionally link the SMS message to a trend report.
- Schedule the sending time in step 4.
- In the final step, confirm the sending and click Save & finish.
