IP stands for internet protocol. An IP address is a numeric code that you get access when you go online. Think of it as a phone number, but then online. An IP address is always unique.
Spotler also has IP addresses, when you send a mailing with Spotler, an e-mail client sees that the mailing comes from an IP address of Spotler.
