Forms Overview

Through the screen Overview of the Forms module, you can create, edit, view and test forms, and change the status of your forms.

Getting started

When you are in the Overview screen, move your cursor across the screen. You will see round symbols with an arrow icon light up that will allow you to open the editing menus. The Overview tab looks like this:

Manage and edit folders
Create new folders by clicking the plus icon next to Folders or rearrange folders by clicking on the double arrow icon. Would you like to edit existing folders? Manage and edit forms
Manage and edit existing forms through the editing menu, which you can open by clicking on the round icon that lights up on the right side of your display. Would you like to know more about the possibilities of this editing menu? Please continue to Editing menus for folders and forms. 

Select and move multiple forms
You can select multiple forms by ticking the box in front of the name of the form. You will see a round symbol with an arrow icon light up in the upper-right corner, that will allow you to open the editing menu for moving forms. Next to this button, you will see the number of selected forms. When you click the button, you will see the following editing menu drop-down.

By using the Move function, you can move the selected forms to one of the existing folders.

 

Tip.jpg Rearranging the columns Name and Date
Move your cursor across the titles of the columns. You will see two arrows light up next to the Name and Date columns. These will allow you to alphabetize your forms and to sort them to see newest or oldest forms first.

 

Editing menus for folders and forms

In the Overview you can open the following three drop-down menus:

  1. The drop-down menu for folders, by clicking the round symbol with the highlighted arrow that appears when you hover your cursor over the folders.
  2. The drop-down menu for forms by clicking the round symbol with the arrow that lights up when you hover your mouse cursor over your forms.
  3. The drop-down menu for forms can also be found in the upper right-hand corner of your screen when you select the checkboxes of multiple forms.

Editing menus for folders and forms:

Rename Change the name of your form folder.
Archive Move your form folder to Archive.
Delete Delete your form folder.


Explanation of the functions in the Form editing menu:

Edit Open the step-by-step plan New form. This will allow you to make changes to your form. Do you need help? Please go to New form.
Open editor Open the editor of the Forms module. This will immediately open the form editor. Do you need help? Then please continue to Form editor.
Reports View the reports of your form. Here, you can view and/or export respondents' reactions to your form.
Change status Open the Change status pop-up. In this menu, you can change the status of your form from Draft to Test or Final.
  • Give a form the Concept status if you are still working on the form.
  • You only use the Test status for yourself and your colleagues. You will use this status when your form is good enough to be tested.
  • Give a campaign the Final status if your form is ready and has been tested. This status is necessary if you want to start using the form. Don't forget to delete all test responses before you start using the form definitively.
View Open the View screen. You will now see a preview of your form. On the left side of the screen, you can see the properties of the survey and the web pages in which the form is used.
Rename Change the name of your form.
Duplicate Copy your form.
Move Move your form to a folder.
Archive Move your forms to the Archive.
Delete Delete your form.
