In the messages editor, it is possible to make blocks in sections or rows optionally visible based on interests. You can set the interests as a condition in the display options. The steps below explain how this works.
- Select the desired section or row, then click on the Settings tab in the left menu. Here, you’ll see a number of display options. Under Conditions, click on Select.
- A pop-up window now opens where you will set up the dynamic block. Under Show for contact in, select Interests. The fields below will then display the items or interest fields available for your account. In the example below, these are Spotler Mail+ Automation, Spotler Mail+ Professional and Spotler Mail+ eCommerce.
- Select one or more items by clicking on them. Then, click the left arrow-icon to move the selected item(s) to the right field. You can use the second icon to move all items to the right field at once. Click OK to proceed.
- The target group for your optional block is now set. In the example below, you can see the target is Spotler Mail+ eCommerce. When you select the relevant section, you will also see a symbol next to Section indicating that this is an optional block based on a condition.
Only recipients with the interest fields you specified will see this particular block in the message.
