Editor Webpages

The editor of the Webpage module looks as follows:

The screen is structured as follows:

  1. The toolbar in the header. This contains standard functions to save, preview, undo or redo your webpage.
  2. Elements, Content, Structures and General settings located on the left-hand side of the screen. These are used to build your webpage.
  3. The canvas with a desktop icon and a mobile icon on the right. This is where you place the content of your webpage.

1. The toolbar in the header

The toolbar in the header looks like this:

Web analytics
Spotler integrates with Google Analytics to track visitor behavior on your website. You can see what a visitor did after clicking on a webpage. Click the icon to enter standard Google Analytics values like medium, source, name, content, and term.

All links will include these values. You can also adjust them per link. When creating a link, a second tab Webanalytics is available. To differentiate in Google Analytics, customize the campaign term per link.

  • Campaign medium: is it an email or a webpage?
  • Campaign source: the name of this specific mailing
  • Campaign name: the title of the mailing
  • Campaign content: the main topic of the mailing
  • Campaign term: specific to links

header_iconen_spml.jpg SPML Center
Special SPML code is used to structure your webpage. When viewing the webpage, you can see the HTML output.
header_iconen_templates.jpg Templates
You can start from a blank page, or use templates to build your webpage. If multiple templates are available in your account (e.g. for different languages or brands), you can use this icon to switch templates.

Already created content? No problem, your content will remain intact.
Brand manger
Manage or create new brand styles here. A brand style works in combination with your template and lets you predefine colors, logos, and fonts, so you don’t need to configure them each time.
Close editor
Finished editing your webpage? Save and close the editor using this button.

2. Elements, Content, Structures and General settings

The left-hand side of the editor contains four tabs to help you build your webpage:

  • Elements
  • Content
  • Structures
  • Settings

These tabs work the same way as in the email editor. For more information, read the article about the structure of the email editor.

Form element

The Form element is only available in the webpage editor. Use it to add a form or survey directly to your webpage.

Use the dropdown menu to select the desired form or survey. After that, you can adjust the styling to your needs.

3. The canvas

The canvas works the same way as in the email editor. Learn more about this structure in the article about the email editor.
