In the Mail+ web page editor, you can easily add forms and surveys that have been created in Mail+. Once you drag the Form element onto your page, select the form or survey you want to display. You can then adjust the styling of the form or survey so that it perfectly matches your brand identity.
Apply your brand style
The quickest way to adapt your form to your brand is by using the General option. When you apply a branding to the page, the form automatically updates based on the settings of that brand style.
Note
When you load a branding on your page, the button does not automatically update. Click on button, uncheck Custom, and then select the button variant defined in your brand style.
Manually adjust the styling
You can also manually edit the styling of the form. To do this, click the form in the editor. A menu will appear on the left side, where you can modify different elements of the form.
You can adjust the following options:
Label
Adjust the font, font size, and text color of all text within the form. Individual text elements that you add inside the form will inherit the styling from the template.
Button
Customize the styling of the submit button. You can configure the font, font size, text color, background color, corner radius, border style, and padding.
Input
Determines how text appears in the input fields.
Input hint
The text displayed below an input field that provides extra guidance for the user, for example a note on how to enter a date.
Highlight
Defines the background color of the question or field you are currently editing.
Adjust the row styling
You can make additional changes to the row that contains the form. The most important options are:
- Changing the background color of the row.
- Adjusting the padding (spacing around the form).
Tip
Always test your form after changing the styling. Go to the Webpage overview and click Preview. This allows you to fill in the form and verify that the layout matches your expectations.
