Popups

With the Popups module, you can easily create pop-ups for your website. Popups are ideal for collecting email addresses or offering valuable content, allowing you to gather and enrich data. In this article, you will learn more about the popup overview and how to configure popups.

Overview

In the overview, you can see all the pop-ups that have been created and the button New popup.
From this overview, you can perform various actions related to an existing pop-up:

• Edit: Edit an existing popup.
• Integrate:This function provides the JavaScript code for the popup. You will also find instructions on how to place it on your website.
• Change status: Use this to set the status of the popup.
• Rename: Change the name of the popup.
• Move: Move a popup to a folder.
• Archive: Archive a popup. An archived pop-up disappears from your overview but remains active.
• Delete: Delete a popup.

Configure a new popup

Click the New popup button to start a step-by-step guide.

 

The guide consists of 5 steps:

1. Properties
2. Display rules
3. Popup style
4. Popup content
5. Processing

Step 1 - Properties

Enter a logical name for the pop-up.

Step 2 - Display rules

In the display rules, you specify how the animation should appear, the frequency, and when the popup should be shown. You can choose to set a time or the number of page views.

Step 3 - Popup style

In step 3, you define the style of the pop-up using various templates, formats, colors, and fonts. You can also add an image.

Step 4 - Popup content

In step 4, you enter the text for your popup. Working with multiple languages? Then create a separate popup for each language.

Step 5 - Processing

In the final step, you set a thank-you message and an error message. You can also select a database field to update a profile when the reader clicks the button in the popup.

Then click Save & Finish.
