Button What it does
header_iconen_save.jpg Save
Your message will be saved automatically, but the safest way is to save your message every now and then. This way, you build up multiple versions of your message.
header_iconen_view.jpg View

This function opens a preview of your message. See how your message will be viewed on desktop, mobile or tablet.

Are you going to A/B test elements in your newsletter? Then the preview will show you what the different versions will look like.

header_iconen_undo.jpg Undo
Does a change turn out differently than expected? Use this function to undo the change.
header_iconen_redo.jpg Redo
Undone too much? Then you can easily redo an action.
header_iconen_analytics.jpg Web analytics

To track your readers on your website as well, an integration with Google Analytics is available in Spotler. This way you can see exactly what a reader has done on your website as a result of a click in an email message. Press the icon and enter the default Google Analytics values, such as medium, source, name, content and word.

All links then receive these values. It is possible to change this per link. When creating a link you will see a second tab called Web analytics. For a distinction in your Google Analytics, you adjust the campaign word per link.

  • Campaign medium: is it an email or a web page?
  • Campaign source: the name of this specific mailing
  • Campaign name: the title of the mailing
  • Campaign content: the main subject of the mailing
  • Campaign word: specific to links

header_iconen_spml.jpg SPML Center
Special code is used to format your message. We call this SPML. When sending the message, the SPML code is converted to HTML code. In the SPML Center you will see the SPML code.

Templates

You can compose a message from a blank canvas, but it is also possible to work with templates for your message layout. When multiple templates are available in your account, e.g. different languages or brands, it is possible to load another template with this icon.

Have you already created content that you want to bring to a different template as well? No problem, your content will be preserved.

When you compose a message again, you will find the template in the template library when composing a message.
